read only

I am trying to save a powerpoint doc onto my CD but cannot
seem to get it out of read only mode. I keep on changing
the file name but no matter what I do, when it gets to the
CD drive, it says read only. I can save it to my hard
drive in another name, just not the CD. I put in a new,
empty CD - still no luck.

CD files are by definition read-only (and this NG is for Word, not PPT).
