Read only??

I have Access2000 app's that I've move from a Win2k/Access2k machine to a
WinXP/Access2003 machine. Front end app's aren't opening. They are giving
the message "Read Only - changes won't be saved." If I look at
Properties, 'Read-only' is not indicated. How do I resolve this??

Take a look at the network rights of DIRECTORY where the databases are
stored on the new machine. Make sure the users have ALL rights to this
directory.

I have deselected "read only" on this directory 3 or 4 time... the files (and
folder) remain "Read only".

Try option to track changes

Where is this "Track Changes" option? The "All users" folder reamins
read-only regardless of deselecting "read-only". If I create a folder
elsewhere and attempt to share it, it instructs me to move it to the "All
Users" folder. I do this and it becomes Read Only" If I create a folder
WITHIN the "All Users", I'm STILL instructed to move it to the "All Users"
folder.

Would moving this back to a Win2000 machine be a better option? I KNOW it
works there!!!!!
