A few of our users are experiencing issues with delayed read receipts.
The scenario is as follows:
A client sends a mail with a read receipt to a user on another Exchange
server within the organization at 10.20am
The recipient reads the mail at 10.30am.
The sender gets the read receipt back at 11:30am. The read receipt says it
was read at 10.30am.
We have message tracked in Exchange and looked at the header and both say
that the read receipt was sent at 11.30 so the delay is not at Exchange and
must be between Outlook and Exchange.
We are using Outlook 2003 SP2 and Exchange 2003 SP2.
The clients are in cached mode.
I can't reproduce the issue. The clients experience the problem
intermittently.
The affected users are in Germany and have the language pack installed.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot this issue?
