Read/Write access

Is there a way to set permissions to give users read-only access to the
project (2003), and still allow them to edit their tasks and publish new
tasks?

I would like all team members to be able view the entire project and have
full access to tasks directly affecting them, without the risk of them
screwing up the entire project.

On a similar note, when a user logs on to Project Web Access and creates a
new task, does this task get published to the project so everyone can see it
or will it only show up under that user's "My Tasks" page??

Thanks in advance,
Jon

- I also wanna send out a huge THANK YOU to JulieD for helping me with my
last couple of questions... this board is great!

Jon:

Giving any user full access to editing a task, as in the ability to open a
Project with the Project client, puts the project at risk. Even if it were
possible to do this through the web interface giving access to only one task
still puts the entire project in jeopardy. Using the tools built into
Project Web Access, you can certainly grant everyone access to viewing the
data they need to see, and conduits to changing the project as they need to
change it working within the framework provided.
