Readability Scores

Word 2003
When I go to tools, options, spelling & grammar & check readability scores,
then click on check document, I get green lines, which I go through and check.

However I do NOT get any kind of readability scores. No box, no statistics,
nada, zippo, nothing.

What am I doing wrong?

And both "Check grammar with spelling" (in Tools - Options - Spelling &
Grammar) and "Show readability statistics" are checked?

Does this problem occur with all document, or just with one/some?

What happens if you start Word in Safe mode? Hold down Ctrl as Word is
starting, and click Yes to starting in Safe mode. Check your settings to
turn on readability statistics and check grammar with spelling, then try
checking a document to see if the readability statistics appear now.
