Readability without spell-check?

Does anyone know if it's possible to get readability stats without
having to go through a spell-check of the entire document? If so,
how's that done.

Unfortunately, I don't think this is possible, which is unfortunate. And in
fact, I think you have to use the grammar check in order to get Readability.
You could spare yourself some pain, perhaps, by formatting all the text
(temporarily) as "Do not check spelling and grammar."
