Is there a way someone can read a Project 2000 file (e.g., Gantt, task sheet,
Network Diagram) without having Project 2000? For example, Adobe had Acrobat
to create file, but anyone with the free Reader can read them.

WAS,
Go to our MVP website at: http://www.mvps.org/project/faqs.htm and take
a look at FAQ 16 - Project Viewer.

Look at www.steelray.com. The viewer is about $35 per user. However, I
installed in on my system with MS Project 2003 already installed and it
killed a file necessary to run Project. From what I understand, it was not
supposed to do that. It allows for multiple views and some customization by
the user. Very useful - allows for viewing but not changing.
