Hello,

Is there a reader yet for Infopath. I want to distribute forms and have my
customers use them so that they can fill them out and send them back to me,
but it requires them to have Infopath.

Does Infopath have a reader just like Acrobat does?

Thanks,
Joel

Hi Joel,

But here is a detailed summary of some of your options:

Option 1: You can turn an InfoPath form into HTML for display only:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d...tml/ipsdkUsingTheDownLevelTool_HV01081784.asp

Option 2: You can develop your own viewer. Do do so, you can start from any
of these free C# Viewer (with code):
2.a.

2.c. http://blogs.msdn.com/bowerm/articles/211757.aspx

Option 3: You can buy a commercial-grade one (some have some level of data
entry support!):
3.a. Check Patrick and Greg's Web Site:

3.b. nVision:

3.c. InfoJet:

3.d. Check InfoView:

3.e. Check InfoScope:

3.f. Check WebConnector (if you speak french!):

Frank,

You've been more than helpful. Why do you suppose Mircrosoft hasn't come
out with one? It seems so basic.

Hi Joel,

This issue won't exist in Office12, as you won't need IP to read or fill
forms (through IE).

Glad I could help.
