Reading emails

I have just installed Office 2003 and Outlook 2003. I have noticed that some
of my emails are showing as blank displays in the body of the message. I also
have this software loaded my laptop and it does not have this problem. I have
checked all my settings but I can't see why some emails show correctly and
others show nothing.
Any suggestions would be grateful.

Check your Encoding settings in the blank emails.

Hi Mary,
I have looked aroun but I can't see how to check the encoding settings.
I am sure this may be on the correct track but I can't find the clue why
some emails can be read and others can't. I thought at first it was
differences in plain text, rich text and HTML but I get a mixture of all that
can and can't be read.

I have gone in to the blak email and I have right clicked. But I can't see
anything relating to Encoding. I hav clicked the properties to see if I can
try and read the header detail but I am not sure what I am looking for.
