Reading encrypted messages halts sometimes Outlook

If I only touch in the standard Outlook window any e-mail that is encrypted
the system freezes for seconds up to minutes depending of the size of the
e-mail. The e-mail itself can be then opened and read without problems. This
unacceptably long delay does not occur if the same encrypted e-mail is
touched/opened in an Advanced Find Window or in a New (Inbox) Window.
Could you explain or help to correct this Outlook behavior?
