Reading Fax

I cannot read the fax. I am using office XP version 2002.
the message " the fax document cannot be displayed because your operating
system does not have a default viewer for fax document. (.tif files).
It used to work perfect before.
How do I install that file from CD office XP?
I went to control panel and i went to add/delete. need help to know what to
do next?
