reading help files

Whenever I try open a help topic, I get the
message "Cannot access MS help." This is true whether I
try to open a file online or offline.

Hi Nan,

I suspect you are using Office 2003 since you indicated 'online' however you also indicated opening a 'file' online so I can't be sure.

Please confirm the version of Office you are using and the exact steps you are using prior to encountering the message. For example are you searching Help? If so what are you searching for?
