Hello,

For anyone familiar with the PC version of MS Word, there is a reading layout that has two panes or pages displaying text. It is not just two pages of the document side by side, as the zoom level can be adjusted and the display remains two pages (by zooming in, text font size increases and less text is displayed on the two panes, by zooming out more text is displayed but font display size is smaller).

The text is also still editable. I cannot for the life of me find this feature or something similar in MS Word, I am using office 2008. Can anyone help?

Reading Layout View is a feature not shared by Mac Word.

However if you go to Print Preview & select 2 Pages from the multiple Pages
button you can attain a similar effect. To edit, click the Magnifier button
to turn the feature off. You don't have the convenience of toolbars but you
can use View> Formatting Palette to bring it to the fore, and the Menus &
keyboard shortcuts work as usual.

only problem it seems is that on my 13.3 macbook, the text is too small on two-page print preview. =T. That's really the main advantage of "reading layout." The text size can be adjusted, displaying more or less text on the two pages (i.e. page 1 of your document can be split into two reading panes).
