Reading Multiplan and Excel V1?

I have some Multiplan and Excel version 1 files that I would dearly
like to open and read. The earliest Excel I can find on the oldest Macs
I have is version 5, and it won't touch them.

I was delighted that the floppies worked after all these years, -- Word
and other documents opened flawlessly.
I have a couple of relic Macs running 8.6 and 7.5.1 that could probably
execute Excel 3 or whatever is required.

Now where could one get a copy of it? Or perhaps a utility to convert
the files to a more recent excel or even csv format?

Thanks in advance
Elliott

Following up my own post, just in case somebody is trying it -- Excel 3
works on 8.6 or less. I have it sorted via ucsm. Thanks

Does XL3 open XL1 files, then? (perhaps you said that, but I'm not sure
what "ucsm" means).

I've only got XL4, that I can find, at least. I suspect I have my
original XL1 disk somewhere...
