reading outlook mail

Greetings all,

I need to write a deamon process which checks the incoming
mails for every 5 minutes, then get the contents, sender
details, attachments in database. How do I approach this
problem. I need to write this .net environment. I have
no knowledge about outlook programming. I have written
something in outlook object model, but having trouble with
getting sender email address and retriving attahcment, if
bmp image is pasted by sender in the body of email. Any
help greatly appreciated.
