Reading Pane dissapeared and menu option greyed

For no apparent reason my reading pane has dissapeared and the option
is greyed out in the menu. Any ideas?? Pleas I need some help!!!!

Is this a standalone installation of Outlook or a corporate one? If a
corporate one, the admin may have disabled the preview/reading pane, even
though it poses no danger.
