The reading pane in Outlook 2007 SPI freezes if I go into an address book and
open an entry. For example, if I am in Inbox and go to open an entry in an
address box, and then go back to Inbox, the pane will then only show the
address book I have been using. It will not show the email that I am trying
to read. I have tried using Outlook diagnostics, but it finds no problem.
It also makes no difference if I then close Outlook and reboot the computer.
The only thing that solves the problem is to run the Clean up Registry
programme in Norton 360 - this reports that it has repaired a broken registry
entry, and the Reading Pane works again.
