Reading Pane frozen when clicking through emails

Hi All..interesting developement for me in Outlook 2003 (SP3). When I click
down through my email the reading pane remains frozen on the first email. If
I open an email and close it the reading pane then displays that email.
Sometimes I can make it show the email in the Reading Pane by clicking the
Outlook icon in the system tray. It just began doing this about a week ago.
Any ideas. Thanks
