Reading Pane hangs the cpu runs at 100%

When I run the reading pane with outlook 03 the cpu usage after a few
mins. hits 100% and remains there. Have to kill process or restart.
Works fine with reading pane off. Running IBM, intelstation 512mem.
Disk space good. CPU P41.8. Any thoughts. tks.
