Reading Pane header size

Is there any way to reduce the size of the header in the reading pain in
Outlook 2007. I realise I can get rid of it, but I like to know if a mail
has been sent to multiple recipients.

The header takes up a large amount of space when you put the reading pane on
the bottom. Can the text in the header pane be reduced in size and/or
tabulated into 1 row?
