reading pane not available on the view menu. any ideas?

The reading pane has disappeared from my outlook. It was available until a
couple of months ago and then disapppeared, and is not even available as an
option on the 'view' menu. Can anyone help? thanks

Not there or greyed out? Tried resetting the Menu Bar already?

Are you selecting the "inbox" when you click on view? It will be greyed out
if any other folder is selected.

No it won't. All folders have a Reading Pane even Notes.
