Very recently, Outlook 2003 SP3 has developed what looks like a script virus
or something vs the reading pane. When you select the first second or third
email in a given folder, all is well and text appears in the reading pane. On
the fourth and all subsequent selection you get the grey bar message that the
email has "restricted" contents and to open it to provide credentials. Guess
what, I don't have DRM support installed, I am not on Exchange, and None of
these messages has any restriction whatever! Only reading pane triggers this
behaviour, as I can use auto preview and/or simply opening documents fully
all day long with no problem! Once the DRM bug goes off, I can't read the
files even trying to open them fully. Help? Suggestions of where to look? I
tried "detect/repair" of office, and made sure all functions were "run from
hard disk".
