Reading Word 2007 Windows files in WordX?

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC

How can I read files created in Word for Windows 2007 (or any other application in the suite) with my Mac OfficeX application?

Is there a converter which I can download from somewhere?

Converters have been available for Word & PPt for some time. You can
download from here:

They're simple to use & work well, but make sure to review all the
"peripheral" information pertaining to System Requirements, installation
instructions & any other readme files.

A most helpful reply. I must confess that, alas, I've always found the MS websites more than a little user hostile and totally illogical so that's probably why I couldn't find what I wanted.
