real dates vs baseline dates...

After baselinging a project I had several tasks start
later than planned. How can I refelct the 'true' start
dates when entering work? Should I be using 'task
usage'? Or should I simply use the drop down calendar
box? Is there an easy way to accomplish this?

Hi Paul,

It depends what you want to compare.
If you are only interested in Start and Finish comparisons, insert actual
start and either %complete or actual duration and remaining duration.
If you also want to compare actual work to baseline work, indeed tak usage
is the place. Right-click on the timescale part, click actual work; make ure
to show remaining work in the left part.

Some experimenting will show you how it works.
