REAL QUESTION-BUG FIX??? TUNING QUESTION PLZ HELP

im using office ultimate, on a vista dell laptop. 256mb vid card, 2ghz, 1gb
mem, vista home. I ahve tried all trouble shoot options and I am about to
give up on this product.
Teh keyboad locks up on typing.. I type real slow!!!! and poorly as
evidenced by this post. The app lock changeing from flder to folder or on
drop down menus.
VISTA visual features are enabled...
I would really like to resolve this as it is almnost impossible to use the
product as is. Lagging upto 20 keystokes is unacceptable... HAs any1 else
had this problem???? HOw do I resolve it?

Have you installed the Outlook Performance update? Have you cleaned your
Restricted security zone? Is Outlook Today your startup folder?

where in options to make outlook todya default in '07. As for restricted sec
zone,,, i have no idea where to find it?
Could the problem be add ins? groove infopath, .. LOl ok just found your

For the Restricted zone, open IE and click Tools>Internet Options>Security.
Select "Restricted Sites" and click the SItes button.

Outlook Today can be made the startup folder by clicking the root of your
Personal Folders to display Outlook Today, then clicking Customize Outlook
Today and choosing "When starting, go directly to Outlook Today". You can
also use Tools>Options>Other>Advanced Options.

I don't know how Groove affects Outlook, as I don't use it. I couldn't
justify the expense of Office Ultimate over Office Professional for apps I
was pretty sure I wouldn't use at home.
