Real Scenario Max units

Hello good pple of the forum, the default max units for a resource in Project
Server is 100%.

Now if I increase the max units of a resource to 200% and assign a task to
th resource the duration reduces to 0.5 days(which is half a day).

Now in a real life scenario how does an increase of the max unit of a
resource affects the availability of that resource.

You assign me to work on a 10-day Duration task at 50% Units, which means
that I will work about 4 hours per day on the task. If you increase my
Units to 100%, meaning I will now work full-time or 8 hours per day on the
task, I should be able to finish in 5 days. Hope this helps.

Thanks Dale for the quick response. So in the real work the max units of 100%
equates 8hrs and 50% to 4hrs.

Hi,

To be precise, Project calculates 50% as 30 secs of potential work per
minute... and so on
