Hi everyone
I saw on http://www.mvps.org/access/ a list of "Ten Commandments" of Access.
One of them encourages that a user isn't able to see tables or edit data in
them directly. I know that the attributes of a table can be set to hidden
and then Tools>Options>View set to hide objects (and hide system objects),
but it's fairly easy to reverse these settings to see and open a table
directly.
Is there some other more secure way of hiding tables (or, indeed, other
objects) and is there a way of preventing a user going into design mode?
Thanks for your time and patience.
