Really? No Quick Parts in OneNote?

I've grown addicted to using the Quick Parts, as shortcuts for frequently
used phrases, in Outlook -- is there no way, in OneNote, to use the keyboard
to quickly insert frequently used phrases?

I don't want to use tags -- I actually want to insert the text, for example,
"Sent email -- awaiting response."

Any ideas?

ON is good for many things but it's not a fully fledged wordprocessor
and substitute fir Word.

You may use something like AutoHotkey and define your standard phrases
there. Woks really well.

in "Connect", the place for submitting suggestions and bug reports to
the developers team:

Thanks for (a) posting the suggestions and (b) letting us know.

I tried to vote for the suggestion fir quite some hours but the
Connect-server seems to be down once mire (as often is the case).

I'll keep on trying.
