front page 2003) does not look the same in that browser as it does in explorer

What's the URL to the site so we can take a look?

That is because IE does not for the most part follow the standard rules in
modern browsers. If you absolutely can not get one page to work in all
browsers I would recommend using some creative css importing tricks so it
will look as similar as possible.
