Reassign Only Once?

Could some explain why when using Project server 2007 I can only reassign a
task once?

If I was to try to reassign the task again, I get the following message " No
Assignments Found to Reassign
No tasks within your selection can be reassigned. Confirm with your project
manager that the project(s) allow task reassignment. "

I have reassigned with this account many times so I know it has the
necessary permissions. I am logged on as two users and trying to assign the
task back and forth to test the functionality, but I can only reassign any
task once.

any Ideas?

The project manager has to approve the reassignment before it can then be
further reassigned; make sure you have completed this step and you shouldn't
have any problems.
