Rebuild Binary

I have a corrupted project file and want to rebuild the binary.

In the projectserverexperts FAQ I have read how to do this. However, I still
have some questions.

1. They mention exporting to XML, deleting the project file and importing
XML file to Project Pro and publish to server. Another method is to save
offline, change a value in the DB and save online again.
If I want to rebuild, do I have to do both? Or is the save offline method
sufficient?
2. If XML import is needed: in order to NOT losing actual work, you have to
select 'Republish all assignments' with the option: 'Overwrite actual work
....'
But we are using managed periods, so the option 'overwrite actual work ...'
is greyed out. How to deal with this?

Thx for your help!

1. I believe you can use either approach. If one does not work, then use
the other.

2. If you are using Managed Time Periods, your Project Server administrator
will need to temporarily disable this feature so that you can republish the
assignments and ovewrite the Actual Work.

Hope this helps.
