recall a message

I wanted recall a message which I send. I recalled that.
Just to check whether it will be successful or not I send
an email to my self and tried to recall the message.
I opened the send mail and from actions menu, recalled the
message.
But I could read the mail contents which I tried to
recall, and getting an email of message recall failure.
Can somebody tell me what the correct procedure to recall
a message?

Recalling a message only works like 5 times out of a 100. There are many
things that can prevent recalling a message even in an Exchange environment.

Message Recall will not be successful if:


a.. The recipient is not using Outlook.
b.. The recipient is not logged on to the mail service provider.
c.. The message has been moved from the Inbox.
d.. The message has been read.This includes viewing the message with the
Preview Pane so that the message is flagged as Read.
