I manage 3 very complex calendars using Outlook 2007 (w/Exchange Server 2007)
and I've been geting the following conflict message for all my recurrent
appointments for which I make exceptions: "Conflict edits have been made to
the same item. To resolve the conflict, select the item in the list below you
wish to keep and then choose "Keep this item", or choose "keep all" to
preserve all the versions".
Most of the times the listed items are 2 appointments edited by myself at
the same time, making it difficult to choose one (and I have no idea why they
are 2 different edits). By having tried both options "Keep this item" or
"keep all" I think outlook is not sinchronizing properly. It's saving both my
recurrence without exceptions and with exceptions because if I choose keep
all it saves both of course and if I choose one of the items (and I can't
tell them apart) it choses the appointment with or without the exception
(depending on waht I happen to choose). My question is: why is outlook
considering 2 edits everytime I make an exception? Why do I get these
messages all the time? I know for sure the calendar owners are not touching
the appointments
