receipt of 4MB email timing out

I keep getting an error message:

Task '(e-mail address removed) - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) :
'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues,
contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

When receiving an email of 4M. I have reset the server timout to "long"
under Advanced Internet E-mail Setting. Nothing else has changed on the
computer. The file I am trying to receive is supposed to be in excess of 30
minute download. In hindsight it should have been zipped. However, now I am
stuck in limbo, cannot receive any messages subsequent to this one, and can't
get rid of it.

Suggestions?

Does your ISP have Web access to your account? You might try to log on there
and then download the file or simply delete it.
