Receive duplicate emails

I have the Microsoft Outlook 2003, just got setup on it. I use to use Outlook
Express before. But now that I transfered all my info into Outlook 2003 I've
been receiving duplicate email.

Can somebody help and tell me how to stop this.

Since you leave copies of messages on the server, and Outlook has never
accessed that server before, naturally it will downlaod the messages there.
It has no way of knowing what Outlook Express downloaded before, so it will
download everything in the mailbox. Let it do so once and it shouldn't
happen again.
