Received Calendar Requests will not open

I receive calendar request from Outlook 2003 into Outlook 2003 - many open
fine, however one's from two important resources do not. Does anyone know
why this would happen?

When you send your calender from one computer to another I found that if a
reminder is checked it will not be able to be opened by the resipiant
