Received Email fonts and background

I have a black background and purple letters as my automatic colors

My problem is received emails. Most people at work are using black (not
automatic) for their colors, so when I get something, I have to transfer it
to Word, change the color to read it.

Is there a way to force colors in Outlook (much the same way as you can for
Internet Explorer)? My old email system you could have colors just for the
one program, but it wasn't a Microsoft group program.

Any suggestions, other than running plain text? It would be impossible to
get everyone to change their colors. Would running a theme help with emails?
If you have a white background, black letters as a theme would that carry
over to the received emails.

Thank you for any help you can give me.

As far as I know, Outlook will obey the values supplied by the sender and you
won't be able to override it without changing the message to Plain Text.
