Received in my inbox "This message has not been sent"

I sent a Photo to a person and then got the message in my inbox with the
header stating "This message has not been sent.". What did I do wrong?

Maybe the message was too large, and got rejected by your recipient's server?
Try making the file smaller (e.g., lower resolution) and resending.
