Receiveing error message and i'm lost

WHEN I CLICK ON MICROSOFT WORD ON MY DESK TOP THE PAGE
CAME UP THEN I'LL GET AN ERROR MESSAGE "KERNAL 32 HAS
CAUSE AN ERROR IN USED EXE" THEN IT WOULD FREEZE UP, I
DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO, COULD YOU HELP ME
