receiving and combining attachments

I am able to break up and combine email attachments to
receive large files in outlook express. but none of my
clients running outlook 2000 can combine the attachments
that I send. Is there a setting in outlook 2000 to solve
this so that they can combine my attachment that have been
broken apart and sent. Thanks
