Receiving E-mail Problem

H

Howard Lynne

In the middle of receiving my 204 e-mails, I get the
following message:

Task 'mail.uscj.org - Receiving' reported error
(0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was
interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your
server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).
The server responded: +OK here is message #167'.

When I try to send/receive again, I get a repeat of the
1st 166 errors and the same failure (done twice more). My
cable modem was just checked and is fine.

My wife's Outlook Express is fine.

I can send messages with no problem.

Thanks.

It sounds like the server is having a problem with message #167 in your
mailbox and ends up dropping the connection when it tries to send it. Does
your ISP provide a Web interface to your mail? You may be able to go into
your mailbox with that and delete the problem message, if you can figure out
which it is.
