Receiving email notifications from a deleted project

A project was deleted thru the delete button in the open project dialog box.
The PM is still receiving email notifications that tasks are overdue and
incomplete.
How do I make the email notifications cease?

Serch in the database for this project.

Renee:

Logon to Project Web Access with Admin credentials and go to Cleanup Project
Server Database. Is the project listed? If so, delete it there.
