Receiving emails from blocked senders

I have been getting a flood of junk emails of late and been blocking the
senders. I am still getting emails from some of these senders. I tried a few
things in to see if it would help but still they are getting thru. First
thing I tried is to remove everything to the left of the @ but that has not
helped with some of these senders. Second I confirmed that they are not on my
safe sender list. Third I confirmed that everything on the right of the the @
matches what is on my block sender.

Is there anything else I can try?

Spammers use bogus addresses that usually change everytime they send spam.
The blocked senders feature is pointless for spam.
