For the past few months, I've been receiving emails that are addressed to a
woman I know casually. Many were sent to her by her sister and some by
others. I am not appearing as a cc , nor does the sender or recipient have
any reason to send them to me. Today I recieved an email from this woman's
daugher. Her daughter was shocked to get a reply from me because she didn't
send it to me. She says she sent it only to her mother. MY NAME APPEARS
NOWHERE IN THE HEADER. Is it possible that emails recieved by this woman are
copied/redirected to me via a trojan or other means? I certainly didn't
knowing send her anything like that, nor have any interest in doing so. It
only happens with emails sent by others to her that somehow get re-routed to
me.
I'm completly mystified. Are there any programs that I should suggest to her
to run to identify and remove the offending virus/trojan/bot or whatever is
doing it?
