receiving error code 0x80042108

I am connected to the internet i can surf the web, but when I try to send and
recieve messages I get this receiving error code 0x80042108 outlook cannot
connect to your incoming(pop3) email server. I was able to recieve and send
for a long time then all of a sudden this started happening. Can anybody
please help me.

2) What type of account?
3) What did you change on your PC just before "all of a sudden"?

Have tried with Outlook 2003, 2007, Express and Mozilla Thunderbird.
POP3 account
Did not change anything on computer just before "all of a sudden"
I also am not rst6371 and am most probably in different timezone and country

I get the same error, since the same date. My ISP can't help me. Have
suggested I set up a
different computer!!!!!!
Have tried with Outlook 2003, 2007, Express and Mozilla Thunderbird.

If you've tried all of those clients and the problem occurs with each, then
clearly the problem is not an Outlook problem but something more general on
your PC. We can't help with non-Outlook issues. I suggest asking in a
newsgroup that deals with whatever your operating system is.

I have the exact same problem. ISP couldn't help me. Nothing has changed with
my computer. I can still receive/send email from my ISP Mail site. This is
definitly an Outlook problem in my mind. If I figure this out I'll be sure to
post something here.
