Receiving GIFs in email body

Hi Guys

I have a user that has a problem receiving GIFs in O2003. They are static
and not animated, however when they forward the email the next user is able
to see the animation.

I 've had a search through the forums but unable to find an answer - sorry
for the trivial question - but somewhat annoying to the end user.
