Receiving HTML e-mails

Hey there, I am hoping someone can help me out. When someone sends me an
e-mail with an HTML format, I just get an e-mail that "A message attached to
your mailbox was blocked because it contained an unacceptable attachment".
Is there a setting somewhere that I can change to accept HTML e-mails? Has
anyone else had these problems?

HTML messages don't produce that error. Is that the exact error? What
version of Outlook and where and when does that message appear?

"When someone sends me ..."
So is that "someone" just one particular sender or everyone that sends
you an HTML-formatted e-mail?

The sender is including a file in their HTML-formatted e-mail, and that
file has an extension of a hazardous (executable) filetype. Ask the
sender to stop putting executables in their e-mails.

To see the raw source of the problematic e-mail(s), receive them in
Outlook Express. Outlook slices up e-mails into records in its database
but you can see the actual raw source in Outlook Express. Then select
the message and hit Ctrl+F3 to see the raw source. Look for a MIME part
that delineates the attached file.
