receiving multiples of the same e-mails in Outlook

Ho do I prevent Outlook from continuously downloading the same e-mails from
my web-server based e-mail system? The problem seems to be with Outlook as
the Blackberry is not affected. E-mail messages used to delete thesmelves
from the web-server once they were downloaded, but as of yesterday, this
stopped and I now have a multi-email nightmare on my hands.

Our exec is having same issue but is recurring since Sept. We have contacted
our webhosting provider numerous times and switched to a higher level of
service to enable us to receive larger e-mails, etc. Also set timeouts to 9
min. because host thought outlook was "timing out" and resending from server.
An iphone receives the same e-mails without any problems or multiples. We
are confused as to where the real problem lies, Outlook or webhost server.
HELP!!
