Receiving Notifications on Completed Tasks

Why are users continuing to receive notifications for
tasks which have been marked complete?
"The following tasks are overdue and incomplete."
One sample entry on the notification email:
Start: 1/16/04 Finish: 1/16/04
Work: 8h Rem Work: 8h

In your example, the task assignment has 8 hours of Remaining Work. Simply
stated, this means that the task is not complete, since there is remaining
work yet to be completed. If this task is actually finished and only took 8
hours to complete, teach your team members to set the Remaining Work value
to 0 hours. This way the system will know that the task is complete. Hope
