My wife just started receiving the following error:
Receiving' reported error (0x80042108) : 'Outlook is unable to connect to
your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message,
contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
There were no problems yesterday. If I recreate her account on my computer,
it works without a problem. I suspect MSO (Outlook 2003 w/SP2, Windows XP)
is the problem. Any suggestions? I tried to use "Detect and Repair", but
that fails saying a certain CAB file is not on the disk. I then used the
program disk to remove then reinstall MSO, to no avail.
